Position Overview
The Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to join its growing team. This role is crucial in leading our quality operations for automotive OEM projects,
ensuring the highest standards of quality across hardware and software components in electric vehicle systems, including wireless charging solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the quality assurance process across the product lifecycle—from development through mass production.
- Serve as the main point of contact for OEM customers on quality-related topics.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues related to hardware and software systems.
- Develop and execute APQP, PPAP, and other automotive quality processes.
- Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective action using tools such as 8D, 5Why, and FMEA.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, Validation) locally and with headquarters in Korea.
- Manage and support external audits, customer assessments, and internal process audits.
- Generate regular quality reports and communicate progress with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Warranty chargeback process for evaluating claims, coordinate across multiple stakeholders-including OEMs’ quality, Warranty administration, and field operation.
- Coach and mentor engineering teams to elevate product and process quality.
- Assist in managing third-party testing and validation partners as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in quality management within the automotive industry, preferably in Tier 1 environments.
- Proven experience working with OEM customers, including issue resolution and customer communication.
- Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies (APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, MSA, SPC).
- Knowledge of automotive standards including IATF 16949, ISO 9001.
- Solid understanding of CAN communication, EMC/EMI, and automotive electronics is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
