Responsibilities
- Conduct research on steel and related industry companies and analyze specific data to understand developments in relevant industries (Steel, Lithium, Auto, Energy etc.)
- Help in conducting background research for outreach and assisting to manage project-related correspondence in a timely manner.
- Maintain a database of steel supply and consumption, pricing, and macro industry drivers.
- Assist in the development of diversification and expansion strategy, including evaluation of M&A opportunities. Traveling may be needed for certain projects.
- Respond to ad hoc requests from managers and from corporate headquarters for information on local markets.
- Assist in writing and presenting industry reports and corporate development plans for top executives
- Produce reports on current events and provide coverage of quarterly earnings of various companies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- Excellent business communication skills
- Bilingual in Korean and English is required
- Available to travel as needed (10~20 days of business trips per year)
- Expert in Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel
- Research, M&A, finance experience is a plus
