Responsibilities

• Conduct research on steel and related industry companies and analyze specific data to understand developments in relevant industries (Steel, Lithium, Auto, Energy etc.)
• Help in conducting background research for outreach and assisting to manage project-related correspondence in a timely manner.
• Maintain a database of steel supply and consumption, pricing, and macro industry drivers.
• Assist in the development of diversification and expansion strategy, including evaluation of M&A opportunities. Traveling may be needed for certain projects.
• Respond to ad hoc requests from managers and from corporate headquarters for information on local markets.
• Assist in writing and presenting industry reports and corporate development plans for top executives
• Produce reports on current events and provide coverage of quarterly earnings of various companies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field
• Excellent business communication skills
• Bilingual in Korean and English is required
• Available to travel as needed (10~20 days of business trips per year)
• Expert in Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel
• Research, M&A, finance experience is a plus
