Company Overview


The Company serves as the purchasing headquarters for one of Supermarket chains, which is the largest Asian American supermarket in the U.S. Located in Carlstadt, NJ. It sources product domestically as well as imports and distributes product from throughout Asia, South America and Europe.
 


Position Overview


The E-Commerce Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing e-commerce operations to drive revenue growth and enhance brand visibility. This role involves working within one of the following areas: Sales & Marketing, Sourcing & Purchasing, or Business Success, while collaborating across all aspects of e-commerce functions (Support). The ideal candidate should possess experience with e-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools, and business analytics.
 

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and special offers.
  • Optimize product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, images, and pricing.
  • Monitor customer behavior and leverage analytics tools to improve engagement and retention.
  • Work with the fulfillment and customer service teams to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Identify and source new products or suppliers to improve competitiveness.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the operations team for replenishment.
  • Ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining product quality and availability.
  • Analyze workflow and integration between e-commerce systems for process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to platforms such as VTEX, Autostore, and B1.
  • Optimize website functionality to improve user experience and conversion rates.
  • Use data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track performance and identify opportunities.
  • Maintain and update product listings with accurate information.
  • Assist in order processing, inventory management, and customer support.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Support technical troubleshooting and system enhancements.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM software).
  • Strong communication skills in English and Korean.
  • Ability to quickly learn new e-commerce applications.

     
Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in e-commerce.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., VTEX, Shopify).
  • Experience with digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM software).
  • Strong communication skills in English and Korean.
  • Ability to quickly learn new e-commerce applications.
