Position Overview


  • Be responsible for the management of the Company's Technical Center and leading a team of engineers to provide advanced technical solutions to our key customers
  • Create/establish/maintain the technical center that will drive a high performing team of engineers to deliver high-quality solutions to the market, which can contribute to more business opportunities and profitability
  • Manage engineering solution projects to keep close track of proposals, demo cutting, application training, installation, and after-support.
  • Regularly analyze machine tool technology trends by region, distributors, products, etc. 
  • Work closely with strategic marketing and commercial functions to define the needs being addressed in each project and deliver the concepts, capabilities, designs, and plans to meet these needs


  • Define key technology/processing solutions development needs for the Company to enhance high-end products' technical support
  • Define technological roadmaps of new product/application solutions to manage the development of timelines of the products and related technology
  • Define engineering solutions development milestones and drive the cross-functional teams towards providing adequate solutions to the customers in timely manner
  • Streamline the process of receiving customers' requests for support in a more seamless way
  • Foresee and manage technological risks in business and promote risk management, project management, and project execution
  • Direct the innovation and knowledge acquisition of the Company towards creating technological value for the business
  • Be aware of the relevance of competing technologies and advise Upper Management and the business of such developments
  • Create/establish/operate the Technical Center following the directions of HQ and Upper Management 
  • Implement and review policies and procedures and keep the organization and staff to be in compliances with DNS policies and government regulations
  • Provide HR Management and determine responsibilities for all staff
  • Maintain effective communication channels among the Center and employees of various teams and cross-functional teams with employees/contractors/suppliers/vendors operating in the field
  • Direct and manage resources, including staffing and budgets
  • Work with the Head and CFO to ensure that there is efficient deployment of capital on programs and tasks
  • Support contractual, licensing, financing, and M&A activities 
  • Play a leadership role in pre-commercial development activities and support successful commercial launches of technology and products
  • Analyze and present to Upper Management the work plan resources and budget required to implement project and task milestones
  • Develop and promote a culture of innovation and a philosophy of being knowledge leaders
  • Support HQ and Upper Management in the IP portfolio, the IP strategy, and building a powerful IP position for the company in the market
  • Manage the innovation process, invention disclosure process, and IP filing processes, and in partnership with HQ, the innovation processes of the Company


  • BA or BS (engineering or related field)
  • At least 15 years of project management and leadership experience in a technical center
  • 5 or more years of experience in major players of the machine tool industry in the US
  • Organizational, decision-making, and presentation skills
  • Deep understanding of the machine-tool industry, technologies, and applied engineering
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience in working with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams on complex projects
  • Possess the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Oral and written communication skills
