Position Overview

The individual will be responsible for supporting the Quality Control Team by planning and directing quality assurance programs designed to ensure continuous production of products with established quality standards.


  • Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish quality and reliability expectancies for finished products
  • Create and edit quality documents, work instructions, and procedures for the Quality Management System
  • Formulate and maintain quality assurance/control objectives and coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with Managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs
  • Oversee workers engaged in inspections and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products
  • Training activities related to product quality and reliability
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding quality
  • Investigate and recommend solutions for all noncompliance issues through non-conforming procedures
  • With the direction of the Manager, leads quality production and continuous improvement philosophy throughout the organization
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining calibration systems of all inspection equipment and tooling
  • Operation and accurate measuring of test machines
  • Monitors SPC System
  • 5S in work area
  • Perform other duties, tasks, or special projects as assigned by the Quality Assurance/Control Manager


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Must be bilingual (Korean/English)
  • Able to multitask
  • Good communication skills with team to promote ideas and support the Company's image as a technological leader
  • Able to adapt and assimilate to other cultures
  • Knowledgeable in the use of micrometers, calipers, height gauges, comparator, etc.
  • Knowledgeable in the theory and application of statistical process control and design of experiments
  • Proficient in use of computer systems and software (MS Office and Minitap)
  • Knowledge of SPC
  • Ability to move around the manufacturing facilities and offices
  • Ability to communicate with staff, vendors, and customers, in person, via email, and on the telephone
  • Has the visual acuity necessary to perform quality inspections
  • Ability to play close attention to detail
  • Work in a fast-paced team environment to ensure that all tactics are completed in a consistent and cohesive manner and support the Team’s direction
